The highest-ranked Deadlock players in each region, refreshed from Valve's own ranked ladder. Deadlock's ranked ladder runs in seasons, and above Eternus I the thresholds are recomputed daily on a percentile basis, so the names at the very top of this list move far more often than the tiers below them.
Deadlock has twelve ranks, each split into six subranks. From lowest to highest they are Obscurus, Initiate, Seeker, Acolyte, Sentinel, Mystic, Ritualist, Emissary, Oracle, Phantom, Ascendant and Eternus. Several of these were renamed in the 2026-07-30 matchmaking update — Ritualist and Emissary each moved up a tier, and Alchemist, Arcanist and Archon were retired — so older guides and third-party sites still show the previous names for the same underlying tiers.
Ranked is a separate queue from Standard. You need 60 Standard wins before you can queue ranked at all, and you may only pick heroes you have at least 15 Standard wins on, with a minimum of three such heroes. Placement runs over eight calibration games that soft-reset your previous rank and cannot exit above Oracle VI. Parties are solo or duo only, and a duo must be within one rank of each other.
Valve does not publish a player's true MMR. The only rank data exposed publicly is the badge, and for players outside the leaderboard most trackers estimate rank from the average badge of the lobbies someone has played in. That estimate is genuinely approximate: a single lobby can span multiple tiers, so an estimate built from a handful of games can be off by a full rank, and it is worse at the low end where lobbies are widest. Ranks shown on this leaderboard come from Valve's ladder directly; estimated ranks elsewhere on the site are labelled as estimates.
